Doha Insurance Group (DIG), founded in 1999 under Emiri Decree No. 30, is a leading Qatari shareholding company listed on the Qatar Exchange. Specializing in insurance and reinsurance services, DIG offers a range of products to protect clients' properties and investments. The company has adapted to Qatar's rapid economic growth by providing innovative insurance solutions. In 2006, DIG expanded into Islamic Takaful insurance under the "Doha Takaful" brand, adhering to Sharia principles.

DIG is supported by a dedicated team, aiming to significantly impact the insurance sector both regionally and in the Arab world. The company offers comprehensive insurance plans, including motor, medical, and travel insurance, tailored to individual and corporate needs. DIG also provides online insurance services and a mobile app to simplify the insurance process.

In 2017, DIG rebranded to reflect its high performance and competitive position. With a paid-up capital of QAR 500 million (US$ 137 million) and over 2,000 shareholders, DIG holds an (A-) Excellent financial strength rating from Standard & Poor's.

DIG aims to unify its insurance activities under a strategic vision, continuously pursuing growth and innovation in the insurance sector.
