Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance (also known as Takaful Al Rajhi) is a reputable insurance provider based in Saudi Arabia. Takaful Al Rajhi is also available as mobile app, whereby a customer can easily manage insurance documents, submit claims effortlessly and track their progress, request services with convenience, and stay informed about policy renewals. The purpose of the Company is to conduct takaful operations and all related activities including re-takaful / re-insurance and agency activities. Its principal lines of business include motor, medical, protection & savings, marine, fire, engineering and casualty insurance. On 2 Jumada Al thani 1424, corresponding to 31 July 2003, the Insurance Authority, known previously is SAMA, as the principal authority responsible for the application and administration of the Insurance Law and its Implementing Regulations, granted the Company a license to transact insurance activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On 1 Rabi' al-awwal 1425, corresponding to 20 April 2004, the Law on the Supervision of Cooperative Insurance Companies was promulgated by Royal Decree Number (M/32). As a commitment from the Company for its activities to be in compliance with Islamic Shari'a legislations, since its inception, the company has established a Shari'a Authority to review and approve the activities and the products of the Company.
