Muscat City Desalination Company (MCDC) plays a pivotal role in addressing the water needs of Muscat, the capital city of Oman. With its strategic location in North Ghubrah, MCDC operates the Al Ghubrah Independent Water Project, a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant.

This facility has a significant contracted capacity of 191,000 cubic meters per day, which is essential for meeting the city's growing demand for potable water.
