Kuwait Bahrain International Exchange (EXCH) is a public company based in Kuwait City(Kuwait) and was established in April 1980. EXCH is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since June 2006. The company operates within the diversified financial sector. It is primarily trades in foreign currencies, traveler checks, precious metals and money transfer activities in Kuwait, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and other countries. It also provides demand drafts, as well as telex and fax transfer services; and door to door, Western Union, DHL courier, bank to bank, foreign currencies sale and purchase, and other express courier services. The company also invests its surplus funds in investment portfolios managed by other companies. In the year 2000, the company introduced Western Union money transfer in Kuwait and started growing further by participating in the remittances market,becoming a renowned Exchange house in GCC. The company won the 1st Prize in the GCC on Western Union remittances in the year 2010. The company's services also include demand draft, telex transfer, fax transfer, door to door services, DHL courier service, bank to bank service, foreign currencies sale and purchase service, and other courier services. It also invests its surplus funds in investment portfolios managed by other companies.
