GFH Financial Group BSC is a public company based in Manama (Bahrain) and was established in October 1999. GFH is listed on three stock exchanges in the GCC, including the Bahrain Bourse, Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM). The company's operations are principally focused across the GCC, North Africa and India, along with strategic investments in the U.S. and the U.K. The principal activities of the company includeSharia-compliant investment advisory services and investment transactions. The firm focuses on early stage investments, acquisitions, management buy-outs, and re-financings in listed or unlisted businesses. It also deals in the industrial, financial, and technological sectors including infrastructure, banking, private and industrial banking, investment banking and brokerage, energy, technology, hospitality, infrastructure services, education, educational and training software, enterprise software, hospitality industry software, website infrastructure software, internet online training services, software and services, and healthcare technology. It has 31 subsidiaries operating across the Caribbean, the British Islands, Northern Africa and the Middle East. It also has established many cross-border entities including Khaleeji Commercial Bank in Bahrain, First Leasing Bank in Bahrain, Asia Finance Bank in Malaysia, Arab Finance House in Lebanon, QInvest in Qatar, and Gulf Holding Company in Kuwait.
