Mena Real Estate is a public company, based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in February 2004. Mena is a subsidiary of Specialties Group Holding Company and is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since June 2008. The company is primarily engaged in providing real estate development services, along with Sharia-compliant real estate investment products within Kuwait and abroad. It also deals with third parties properties management, real-estate consulting and purchase, sale of companies' securities, which are involved in similar activities. It is active in land purchase, sale, reclamation, development and property management; import and trade of construction materials; real estate investments and surveys; civil, electric and mechanical maintenance works; real estate safety and security works. Plus, it also invests in, rents out and manages hotels, motels, clubs, rent houses, hospitality houses, housing complexes, cafeteria, restaurants, parks, gardens, tourist health resorts, entertainment and sports projects and shops. The company invests its surplus funds in financial portfolios managed by specialized entities. It has 15 subsidiaries operating across the Middle East. The company's subsidiaries include: Mena Saudi Real Estate, Monshaat Real Estate Development Co., Mena Turk Real Estate, and GDREC Real Estate Projects Company, among others.
