Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing and Trading is a public company, based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in March 1983. GYPSUM is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since September 2006. The company mainly engages in manufacturing and trading of raw gypsum materials, along with the production of construction materials associated with the production of gypsum. Its products include ordinary wall boards, fire-stop board, moisture resistant wall boards, and gypsum powder, among others. Its production facility at Mina Abdullah produces more than one hundred tons of claimed gypsum powder per day. Plus, it has the capacity to produce more than 3 million square meters of gypsum boards with different thickness, annually. The focus of its activities is on the manufacturing and trading of raw gypsum and all types of building materials related to gypsum production. It also acquires agencies from mines, industries, and companies involved in the construction material production; and invest its excess funds in investment portfolios managed by specialized companies. The company's gypsum board is used for residences, offices, hospitals, clinics, institutes, laboratories, and airports. It also deals in the trading of all types of equipment and hardware used in gypsum manufacturing.
