Activities
Kuwait Cable Vision (known as: CABLETV) is a public company, based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in December 1997. CABLETV is listed on Boursa Kuwait since January 2002. The company specializes in audio and visual media broadcasting, construction of Satellite TV Stations and wired and wireless networks supporting the broadcasting activities. It operates through the Operation and Investment business segments. The Operation segments handles all activities in the media production sector. The Investment segment engages in all security investments. The company mainly offers advertising, broadcasting equipment archiving, digital archiving, multimedia consultancy, digital tape wash, event management, film preservation, film production, film transfer, media description, multimedia, media construction, production studio, post production, storage, system integration, OB van, satellite construction and management, TV stations, conference center, theatre, and media distribution services. The firm also engages in the import, export, and trade of machines and equipment that support its objectives, besides in investing surplus funds in financial portfolios. It has 9 subsidiaries operating across Kuwait and United States. The major wholly owned subsidiaries include: LuxSat Kuwait Company WLL, Desert Door Productions and Loud Advertising Company. Its other subsidiaries include XD Theater, Sherezade Films, U Studio, Event Vision and Creative Vision.
