Oman Chlorine Company has formally lodged an anti-dumping complaint concerning imported calcium chloride products with the Technical Secretariat Office of the General Secretariat of the GCC.

The move was made in line with the Unified Law on Anti-Dumping, Countervailing, and Safeguard Measures of the GCC States, Oman Chlorine said in a disclosure to the Muscat Stock Exchange.

'Following a review of the complaint, the GCC Permanent Committee for Anti-Injurious Practices in International Trade has accepted the submission and decided to launch a formal investigation, in accordance with the procedures set out under GCC regulations,' Oman Chlorine said.

Oman Chlorine said the complaint is part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard the local industry and protect its commercial interests, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and shareholder value. The company added that any significant developments regarding the investigation will be disclosed in due course, in line with regulatory requirements.
