Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), Qatar's leading insurer announced its partnership with Qatar Airways for its premier customers to earn Qmiles. Under the new partnership, Privilege Club (Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Programme) members can now earn Qmiles upon purchase or renewal of comprehensive (full) car insurance in the State of Qatar.
Customers would simply need to visit the airline website to buy or renew their car insurance and enter their Privilege Club membership number to earn Qmiles. Customers who wish to buy or renew insurance from any of the branches of QIC would need to present their Privilege Club membership card during the transaction.
During the contract signing ceremony Khalifa Abdulla Turki Al Subaey (pictured), Group President and CEO of QIC Group stated, "QIC is pleased to partner with Qatar Airways. Through this distinctive partnership, we have taken a further step towards extending our range of benefits to enhance customers' experience for being with us. It is our way of rewarding customers for selecting QIC as their trusted insurance partner."
He further added, "We are confident that this new scheme will be well-received by customers in Qatar and we will eventually roll out the same across the region. Going forward, we will have more exclusive offers and privileges to offer customers."
