The National Bank of Oman (NBO) was established in 1973 as the first incorporated bank in the Sultanate of Oman. Initially founded as a joint-stock company, NBO has grown to offer both conventional and Islamic banking services. NBO operates through five main segments: retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, treasury and international banking, and Islamic banking. Additionally, the bank boasts one of the largest ATM networks in the country, with over 169 ATMs available for customer use.
