Zain Kuwait announced its sponsorship and participation in the Kuwait Oil & Gas Show (KOGS 2026), a step that reinforces its role as a strategic partner to the national energy sector by enabling the digital backbone that underpins operations across this vital industry. This aligns with the company's strategic direction to build long-term partnerships with national entities and enhance the energy ecosystem's readiness for sustainable digital transformation, while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and operational security.

The event was held under the patronage and attendance of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, alongside a distinguished group of ministers, leaders, and decision-makers. The event provided a multidisciplinary platform for dialogue on the future of energy, serving as a catalyst to explore digital transformation solutions and sustainable development, with a focus on operational excellence and security of supply.

At its booth, Zain hosted Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi, the Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Sheikh Nawaf Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, the CEO of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Ahmad Al-Eidan, and Deputy Chair of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and Board Member of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wafaa Al-Qatami. They were joined by Chief Enterprise Business Officer Hamad Al-Marzouq, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al-Khashti, ZainTECH CEO Andrew Hanna, and GM of ZainTECH in Kuwait Mohammad Harb.

Through this participation, Zain, together with its regional digital solutions provider ZainTECH, underscored a strategic role that goes beyond connectivity to enabling an integrated digital ecosystem for Kuwait's energy sector. Leveraging advanced network capabilities alongside expertise in AI and data analytics, Zain is working with leading national energy companies to accelerate digital transformation across diverse operating environments, including refineries and major industrial facilities, while strengthening security, improving efficiency, and supporting environmental objectives.

Zain's participation also reflects its approach to enabling transformation through advanced digital solutions, including 5G networks, managed cloud services, IoT, data analytics, drones, and cybersecurity solutions. These capabilities contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening safety, and advancing productivity and sustainability across the critical infrastructure of the energy sector.

The conference featured a governance structure and executive committees comprising prominent leaders from Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Kuwait Oil Company, alongside representatives from global energy companies and research and technology institutions, reflecting the event's stature as an international hub for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and partnership building.

The exhibition's significance also stems from being a unifying platform that extends beyond traditional industry boundaries through specialized sessions and high-value networking opportunities, including themes related to emissions reduction, local content, and empowering the next generation of talent, opening space for collaboration, partnership building, and impactful sector-wide initiatives.
