This decrease was due to a drop in the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector and the material sector.

Bahrain lslamic Index has closed at 907.71 points, marking a decrease of 0.11 points below the previous closing.

Results indicated that 77 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,681,040 worth BD 672,820.

Investors traded mainly in the consumer staple sector, representing 40.54% of the total value of securities traded.
