Vodafone Qatar was announced as the official Technology Sponsor of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, set to take place in Qatar toward the end of this year.

Vodafone Qatar will deliver advanced technology infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of both tournaments. This includes nationwide 5G network coverage, high-speed fibre connectivity, and secure communication links between stadiums and the central media centre- enabling seamless coordination and real-time broadcasting capabilities. Sheikh Hamad Abdulla Jassim Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer at Vodafone Qatar, said, "We recognise sports as a powerful force for unity and positive transformation. In line with Qatar National Vision 2030, we take pride in our commitment to supporting the nation in hosting world-class global sporting events as a means to promote cultural exchange and societal cohesion. We are honoured to be the official technology sponsor of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025."

The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will be held from December 1 to 18 across six World Cup venues. The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, the first of five consecutive editions to be hosted in the country, will run from November 3 to 27.
