Omantel, the leading provider of integrated telecommunications services in the Sultanate, will participate in the Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 26 to March 1, 2018. The MWC is an exhibition where telecommunications companies, device manufacturers, digital solutions providers, and network operators from around the world gather to showcase the latest innovations and services.

Speaking on Omantel's participation, Mohammed al Salmi, Senior Manager Corporate Affairs at Omantel said, "The Mobile World Congress is a great platform to network with some of the most respectable names in technology and communications, and mutually come up with solutions that will drive the next wave of innovations. We are keen to understand the disruptive trends in the telecom space that will help us come up with new offerings to improve our customers' experience and set a higher standard for digital transformation in the Sultanate."

Omantel has been part of this prestigious technology show for more than 10 years and had successfully created partnerships with global technology vendors to improve the customers' experience and bring the latest mobile innovations to the Sultanate.
