At a cost of 9 million OMR and a half Ceremonial Contract Signing for Construction of Sohar University Main Campus (Phase II) Sohar University Celebrated yesterday Tuesday 11/3/2014 signing contract of the second phase of Sohar University Main Campus expansion at Beit Reem building in Muscat with Alpha Inspection and Engineering Services LLC Co.

where Mr. Mahmoud bin Mohammed Al-Jarwani Chairman of the Board of Directors signed on behalf of the University and by Alpha Mr. John Saji in presence of some of both the University and the Board of Directors members as well as University and the company staff in addition to a number of media representatives. The contract stipulated the establishment of building No. 12 - PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILDING with a building area of 9202 square meters comprising a closed gym- Multi-Purpose Area accommodate up to 1000 people and Olympic swimming pool as well as some facilities and laboratories serving the Physical Education Program , students and staff . In addition to expanding STUDENT FACILITIES BUILDING No. (13) with a building area of 14.374 square meters comprising dining hall can accommodate up to 800 students as well as Deanship offices The total cost of this contract is 9.500.000 nine million five hundred thousand OMR and for the completion of the project to 20 months.
