In a new achievement that confirms the excellence of its human capital strategy, National Bank of Kuwait received two prestigious awards as part of the GCC Government Human Resources and Youth Awards for the year 2025 held in Abu Dhabi.

NBK has won two awards:

Most Distinctive Learning and Development of the Year in Private Sector.

Excellence in Digital Learning Innovation.

These awards reflect NBK's unwavering commitment to human capital development and the profound impact of its innovative initiatives in the areas of learning and development, and digital innovation in training. Moreover, these awards further enhance the bank's position as a leading financial institution that not only provides banking services but also sets new standards of excellence in the workplace across the region.

Celebrating excellence, innovation, and impact in the areas of governance, human capital development, and youth empowerment, the GCC Human Resources and Youth Awards 2025 acknowledged individuals, institutions, and initiatives that have set new standards and made valuable contributions to public service and human capital development, driving progress in these vital sectors.

The nominations are evaluated by a specialized committee of prominent experts and HR leaders in the region, relying on four main criteria. First, the committee explores the program or initiative achievement in terms of real and tangible results made. The second criterion is the approach, which examines the effectiveness and quality of planning, followed by execution that evaluates the quality of implementation; and finally, the extent of creativity and innovation that looks closely into the originality of the strategy and ability to provide unconventional solutions. These criteria ensure that the awards are given to the institutions that go beyond providing innovative ideas but also implement them and achieve sustainable and tangible outcomes.

The GCC Government Human Resources and Youth Awards are a prestigious platform that brings together the brightest minds and change-makers across various sectors. Additionally, it acknowledges leaders who can turn visions into reality, as well as business leaders, creative innovators, and thought leaders who make positive changes and build a brighter and more innovative future for all.

The 13th annual GOC HR and Youth Summit featured inspiring sessions and a lively exchange of ideas and insights among leaders in human resources, technology, innovation, and youth empowerment, in addition to training seminars that contribute to strengthening career paths and advancing the sector by opening new horizons.

Excellence in E-learning innovation
NBK won the award for Excellence in E-Learning Innovation Award of the Year in Private Sector for its innovative initiative "NBK Learning Hub", the bank's e-learning platform and a turning point in digital training for employees. This platform provides a modern and effective learning experience through a digital library that contains hundreds of specialized training courses. This award reflects the success of the bank's strategy in adopting the latest digital technologies in training, providing flexible, personalized, and effective learning experiences and using advanced e-learning platforms that provide customized training content that meets the individual needs of employees across various departments and branches.

Most distinctive learning and development strategy in private sector

As for Most Distinctive Learning and Development Strategy, NBK received this award for NBK Academy and NBK Tech Academy programs.
