Kuwait's Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has awarded two infrastructure contracts worth KD172.1 million ($558 million) related to its South Saad Al Abdullah residential project to China Gezhouba Group.

The scope of work includes construction and maintenance of the infrastructure works for residential suburbs as well as substations, said PAHW in a statement.

The Chinese builder will also be responsible for the irrigation tank building within the South Saad Al-Abdullah residential project.
