Diyar Al Muharraq, Bahrain's largest real estate development company, recently collaborated with the University of Bahrain (UOB) to organise the Real-World Urban Design Challenge.

The initiative underscores the company's ongoing commitment to nurturing future professionals in the Kingdom's real estate sector and reflects its confidence in the potential of young talent to shape the industry's progress.

Held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the event was attended by representatives from both Diyar Al Muharraq and the University of Bahrain. Six top-performing students from UOB's Department of Architecture & Interior Design presented innovative design concepts inspired by real-world urban development requirements. One entry from both the Architecture and Interior Design categories was selected as the winner and awarded valuable prizes. Commemorative gifts were also presented to other participants in appreciation of their efforts.

Eng Ahmed Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, stated: "Driven by our dedication to social responsibility, we remain keen on working with prominent institutions across various sectors to launch meaningful development initiatives, particularly those that encourage our youth to pursue rewarding careers in real estate development. We strongly believe that the foundation of any sector's progress lies in harnessing the creativity and bright ideas of the next generation."

Diyar Al Muharraq is Bahrain's largest integrated residential city that blends luxury with the core family values of Bahraini society. The development offers a wide range of housing solutions and contemporary lifestyles, complemented by a mix of residential, commercial, recreational, and healthcare facilities that embody the vision of modern, future-ready urban infrastructure.
