Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,960.88 points, marking an increase of 13.99 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to a rise in the communications service sector, the consumer discretionary sector and the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 861.79 points, marking an increase of 25.70 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 226 equity transactions took place with a volume of 8,501,574 worth BD 1,712,368.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 75.79% of the total value of securities traded.
