Share prices on Bursa Malaysia closed mixed today with the market barometer buoyed by gains from selected bluechips, dealers said.

At 5pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia (FBM) KLCI ended 1.3 points at 1,524.05 after opening at 1,526.46.

The Plantation Index was up 17.67 points to 7,606.09 but the Finance Index shed 14.71 points to 13,918.02 while the Industrial Index added 2.21 points to 2,759.29.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Emas Index added 4.06 points to 10,522.19 but the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index lost 16.79 points to 11,319.59 while the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Ace Index gained 27.46 points to 4,435.71.
